Cinemas around Enfield

Odeon Cinema Lee Valley

Picketts Lock Lane, London N9 0AS, UK – 0333 014 4501

An enjoyable evening watching Darkest Hour. I've an unlimited pass, so try to get my money's worth. Lee Valley Odeon is an excellent choice for motorists, though the only buy comes from Enfield Town. Without the pass it's an expensive night out. I like the cinema and find staff friendly and helpful.

Decent cinema. Clean, reasonably well organised. A few seats in the foyer to sit when waiting would be useful. Good parking and lots of it but not easy to get to on foot or by public transport. I did not notice any provision for cyclists.

Cineworld Cinema - Enfield

208 Southbury Rd, Enfield EN1 1YQ, UK – 0871 200 2000

There's a large underground car park with plenty of spaces, but even if it's full there's a large number of spaces on the ground near the cinema too. The cinema itself has plenty of places to get snacks and drinks but as usual it's pretty pricey. They do allow you to bring your own snacks but not fizzy drinks. We went in screen 10 which was fairly small but the seats were comfy and all had a good view. The leg room is very good for cinema standards - even a near-six-footer like myself could stretch out almost without touching the seat in front.

This cinema has a great choice of screens and timings including IMAX. Seats are comfortable with good view of the screen. There's plenty of parking both underground and above ground, also it's next door to several restaurants. Very easy to get to via A10 and M25 Junction 25. My biggest complaint is cost of tickets and price of drinks, popcorn etc.
